Empreintes est un projet né d’une immersion au cœur d’un vaste chantier en périphérie urbaine. Dans ce territoire en transformation permanente, la matière se déplace, résiste, se recompose. Les lignes, les volumes et les vides se redessinent chaque jour.
La série explore la relation entre le geste humain et la matière. À travers un dispositif en diptyques, les visages des ouvriers dialoguent avec les surfaces qu’ils façonnent. Traces, lignes et formes éphémères apparaissent comme des compositions presque sculpturales, avant de disparaître au fil des transformations successives du chantier.
Empreintes interroge ce qui demeure du geste une fois l’ouvrage achevé. Le chantier devient ainsi le lieu d’une mémoire en construction, où la matière conserve, provisoirement, la présence de celles et ceux qui la transforment.

Empreintes is a photographic project born from an immersion in the heart of a vast construction site on the outskirts of the city. In this constantly evolving territory, matter shifts, resists, and takes new forms. Lines, volumes, and voids are redrawn each day.
The series explores the relationship between human gesture and material. Through a diptych format, the workers’ faces enter into dialogue with the surfaces they shape. Traces, lines, and ephemeral forms emerge as almost sculptural compositions before disappearing beneath the successive stages of construction.
Empreintes questions what remains of a gesture once the work is complete. The construction site becomes a space where memory is being built, and where matter temporarily preserves the presence of those who transform it.
